Commercial applications (products for non-residential use) can be fun to work with. Often times, the color pallets extend beyond traditional hues to unique materials and colors. ACS has many out-of-the box materials that are applied to fulfill custom requirements of our customers. Contact our color lab for material that might not be displayed on-line. We color match at no charge! For commercial projects and colors we divide products into two categories:

Behind Gel Coat Applications [click]

As you know, gel coat offers a protective coating on surfaces as well as increased thermo shock. For counter tops, it is best suited for areas that are not subject to cutting or heavy wear use. Products that are offered by ACS for this purpose are:

Ecotone Surfaces—Recycled engineered composites.
Terra Bella—Engineered Granite (patent pending) using natural stones including semi-precious gemstones. Very unique!
Artistone—Cultured Granite
Poly Stone—Pre-blended chip colors that may be added to a filler of choice and may be cast or sprayed behind gel coat. Also excellent for broadcast flooring, swimming pools, and coating anything that requires a granite-like look.
Poly Chips—Polyester granules that may be purchased individually by color(s). They can be sprayed or blended with a filler by the customer.
Stone Flakes—Flat pigmented acrylic flakes that mimic the angular looks of natural stone. Can be mixed with Poly Stone or Poly Chips.

Non-Gel Coat Applications [click]

Areas that are subjected to wear and tear (with the possibility of re-surfacing in the life span of the part are products that generally do not use gel coat, such as solid surface. Products that are offered by ACS for this purpose are:
Ecotone Surfaces—Recycled and renewable fillers
Terra Bella Quartz—Not for everyone, this all quartz line is castable without gel coat. Call 520.889.1933 for information.
Dura Stone—Solid Surface Filler
Poly Stone—Pre-formulated color combinations for use in solid surface (where you add the filler) or spray granites (used as purchased, spray with gel coat and back-filled).
Poly Chips—Polyester granules (patented) that may be purchased individually by color and blended by the customer to make solid surface.
