Once referred to as Arizona Cultured Stone Products, the company started with humble beginnings in a small shop located in the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona. The father (Jim Novak) and son (Greg Novak) team had an idea for a supplier company to manufacturers in the rapidly expanding solid surface and cast polymer industries for kitchen and bath applications.

One of the first products manufactured by ACS was the Granite Fill 2000 line. Consisting of a simple combination of calcium carbonate and natural aggregate, Jim and Greg quickly moved towards polyester chips, eventually obtaining a patent for a unique line of thermoplastic Poly Chips.

In early 2007 the company's leadership changed from founder Jim Novak to Greg Novak. While Jim no longer handles the day-to-day operations of ACS, he retains the title of CEO and owner. (Read more about Jim's retirement>>>)

Today, ACS is a leading supplier of raw materials for the cast polymer and solid surface industries. All products manufactured by ACS continue to be made in the United States while sold both domestically and internationally.
